These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”) govern the contractual relationships between the company Vincent & Galileo EI, registered with the CMA-Ile de France under number 979511862 (hereinafter referred to as “the Seller,” “the Company,” “we,” “Hat in the Clouds”), owner of the brand and website “Hat in the Clouds”, and its customers (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer” or “you”). They also apply to anyone visiting the website www.hatintheclouds.com. The use of this website implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
Purpose of the Website
The website “Hat in the clouds” offers products for sale that can be ordered through an online distance selling system. The brand and the website “Hat in the Clouds” are the property of VINCENT & GALILEO EI, a company registered with the CMA-Ile de France under number 979511862 and established in Paris, France.
By placing an order for a product or service from HAT IN THE CLOUDS on the website and checking the box “I have read and accept the terms and conditions of sale,” the customer acknowledges having previously read and accepted these general terms and conditions of sale without restriction. These general terms and conditions of sale, once accepted, are the only ones applicable and govern all orders placed on the Internet for the products and services offered on our online sales site.
Formation of the Contract
Orders placed commit the customer as soon as our customer care team receives the order and its payment.
Contract
You declare that you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity or parental authorization to place an order on our website.
Products
All our models are copyrighted. Minor differences may be observed between the item as presented in the photos and the item received as their issue of handmade craftmanship.
Availability
The products and services offered are available within the limits of available stocks. In the event of unavailability of a product or service after placing your order, our Customer Care Team will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative solution (replacement of the product with another of equivalent value) or a full refund of your order, as your convenience.
Prices
The prices indicated on our website are by default displayed in EURO when you access our site from a country in the European Union. The exchange rate applied is that of the Converter provided by the payment method selected. Prices may be modified at any time by the seller.
VAT
Under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI), VINCENT & GALILEO is not subject to VAT. Therefore, the prices indicated are exclusive of taxes, and no VAT will be charged to you on our website. For customers located outside the European Union: see the section below “Important : Note for Customers Located Outside the EU (European Union).”
Order
After placing your order on our website, you will receive an email confirming your order at the email address provided. If your order includes a shipping item, a second email notification will be sent to you when your items are dispatched, by DHL or by La Poste services (Colissimo tracking) if the delivery address is located in France. It will include, among other information, the tracking number for your order. Please keep this email as it will allow you to track your package and have the necessary information available in case you need to file a claim with the carrier.
Delivery
Our team carefully prepares and packs each order and then ships it as soon as possible. The delivery time provided by our site is approximate and is based on estimates provided by our carriers (see table below “Delivery Times”). This period starts from the moment we ship the product. We undertake to ship your product within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) if it is a ready-to-wear item or 2-4 weeks if it is a custom item. We cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by our carrier.
If you have an event or any other requirement demanding shorter delivery times, please contact us here before placing your order so that we can review your request.

HAT IN THE CLOUDS undertakes to make every effort to deliver the order within the maximum period indicated in the product sheet, and upon receipt of the purchase order and payment. Any delays, within a limit of 7 days, do not give the buyer the right to cancel the sale and claim damages. HAT IN THE CLOUDS undertakes to inform you by email as soon as possible in case of a delivery delay.
HAT IN THE CLOUDS is released from its delivery obligation for all fortuitous events or force majeure. For example, total or partial strikes, floods, and fires are cases of force majeure. The transfer of ownership of the products delivered or to be delivered is suspended until full payment of the price by the customer. Any claim for non-conformity must be made within the week following the date of receipt of the order.
Delivery addresses
We deliver our products to most countries worldwide. You must ensure that you provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address. We cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of the order due to errors or omissions on the part of the Customer.
In accordance with the restrictions and trade regulations implemented within the European Union, we may not be able to process your order in certain cases if the delivery and/or billing address is located in a place where the export of our products is prohibited by current European regulations. In such cases, we may not be able to process your order. If this were the case, your order would be canceled, we would send you an e-mail to inform you, and you would be fully refunded if you have made a payment. Note that these provisions evolve and are independent of our will; we cannot anticipate them, thank you for your understanding.
Returns and Refunds
All items at exception of bespoke items ordered on hatintheclouds.com can be returned for a refund. To be eligible for a refund, the item must not have been used (neither worn nor washed) and must be returned in its original perfect condition with its label(s) and packaging. Please contact HAT IN THE CLOUDS within 14 days after receiving the package at hatintheclouds [at] gmail.com or here to arrange the return.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their shipment is sufficiently protected and well-packaged when returning an item. Our Customer Service can provide you with packaging instructions upon request. We encourage you, whenever possible, to reuse the original packaging box. All product packaging must be included. Bespoke orders are not returnables or refundables.
Returns cost are covered by HAT IN THE CLOUDS only in the case of error in the item or products that have manufacturing defects. Otherwise, shipping costs will be borne by the customer and will not be refunded.

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 (fourteen) clear days from the delivery of their order to return the products to HAT IN THE CLOUDS for a refund, without penalties, provided the item has never been worn. Any item must be returned in its original packaging and condition, unused, with all its accessories.
After this legal withdrawal period, your return request may not be processed.

The product sheets available on the HAT IN THE CLOUDS store contain all the information necessary for the correct choice of size. In case of doubt, customers can always contact HAT IN THE CLOUDS team here before making a purchase.
We want your shopping experience to be as comfortable as possible. Offering you quick and personalized assistance to help you with your shopping experience is part of our commitments. This allows us together to reduce the number of returns and, thus, reduce our carbon footprint.

Order Payment
The customer agrees to pay the current sale price at the time of order acceptance.
Payment for the order is made in advance in a single payment when sending the purchase order to HAT IN THE CLOUDS. Payment is made online by Credit Card via our payment partners Stripe or PayPal, which offers customers several secure payment methods such as Visa/Mastercard/American Express, and Apple Pay. Your order will be validated upon confirmation of payment. You will receive an email notifying you that your order has been successfully processed.
Payment Security

Important Note for Customers Located Outside the EU (European Union)
We would like to inform our international customers that certain products may be subject to customs fees and/or import taxes when shipped to destinations outside the European Union (EU). These fees and taxes, if applicable, are determined by the customs authorities of the destination country and are not included in the total amount of your order. By placing an order on our site, you accept responsibility for all customs fees and potentially applicable taxes. Please note that HAT IN THE CLOUDS cannot predict or control these fees as they vary depending on the customs laws and regulations of each country. We encourage you to check with local customs authorities or your country’s customs service for specific information on potential fees. HAT IN THE CLOUDS disclaims all responsibility for these customs fees and import taxes and cannot reimburse or cover them. Thank you for your understanding.
Limitation of Liability
We disclaim all responsibility for improper or non-compliant use of the products sold. The products sold must be washed and dried under appropriate conditions as described on the care label. The Customer can find care instructions on our website as well.
Furthermore, our liability is limited to the amount of your order.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to our products and our website are reserved. Any unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
Workshop cancellation policy
We would like to inform you that workshop bookings through our website are currently suspended until further notice. If you have already booked a session (through our website or a partner), no worries, it will take place as planned. For tourism professionals, feel free to contact us so we can assess your request. For any other questions regarding the workshops, do not hesitate to contact us.

To cancel or reschedule a workshop please contact us at least 72 hours in advance.
No-shows will NOT be refunded.
If you are late for more than 25 minutes, you will be proposed to join a following session the same day if it is possible. If there are no other availabilities, you will be considered no-show.
Protection of Personal Data
All data you provide to us is for the purpose of processing your orders and will remain confidential. Under Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, you have the right to access, consult, modify, rectify, and delete the data you have provided to us. For any request for modification, the process can be done directly from your account or by contacting our Customer Care Team.
Data Protection
hatintheclouds.com collects information about you when creating your customer account: name, first name, email address, postal address, telephone number, etc. This data allows us to process your orders. Hat in the clouds does not sell customers’ data to third parties. Hat in the clouds only shares delivery information with its carriers in order to send you the items you’ve bought.
When you hatintheclouds.com exclusively. You can unsubscribe from these offers at any time by clicking on the link provided for this purpose. In accordance with the provisions of the Law on Data Processing and Freedoms of January 6, 1978 (amended by the Law of August 6, 2004 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data), the customer has the right to access, rectify, and oppose the personal data collected about them.
